If a customer or staff cannot remember their password, they can reset it. Any user can reset their own password. Alternatively, a manager can reset their password for them.

Note

Only users that have previously logged in can reset their password. If an account does not have a login yet, you need to invite them instead.

User resetting their own password

To reset their password, a user should:

  1. Ensure they are logged out.
  2. On the Login page, click Forgot your password?
  3. Enter their username or email, and then click Reset Password.
  4. Check their email and then follow the instructions in the email.

Manager resetting a password for a user

For a manager to reset a user’s password:

  1. In the Users menu, click Customers.
  2. Click Details next to the user. If the user is part of a family, then click Details next to the family account instead.
  3. In the Login box, click Reset Password.
  4. Click Send Email.

The user will receive an email containing a link to create a new password.
