If a customer or staff cannot remember their password, they can reset it. Any user can reset their own password. Alternatively, a manager can reset their password for them.
Note
Only users that have previously logged in can reset their password. If an account does not have a login yet, you need to invite them instead.
User resetting their own password
To reset their password, a user should:
- Ensure they are logged out.
- On the Login page, click Forgot your password?
- Enter their username or email, and then click Reset Password.
- Check their email and then follow the instructions in the email.
Manager resetting a password for a user
For a manager to reset a user’s password:
- In the Users menu, click Customers.
- Click Details next to the user. If the user is part of a family, then click Details next to the family account instead.
- In the Login box, click Reset Password.
- Click Send Email.
The user will receive an email containing a link to create a new password.
