All new staff create their own account with a personal username, password, and email.

Create an account

To sign up for an account, all staff should follow these steps:

  1. Open the Login page.
  2. Click Create a new account. They will be brought to the Create account page.
  3. Fill out the fields on this page.

Verification

Before the user can log in, a manager will need to verify the account by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Users section and open the Unverified page.
  2. Click Verify as Staff.
  3. Select a role for the staff account. The account can be a coach or a manager.
  4. Confirm your password (as a security precaution).

The user will receive a notification that their account has been verified. They can now log in with their username and password.

In addition, an email will always be sent to the site email address indicating that a new staff account was added to the system. When logging in for the first time, the user will be required to change their password to a “strong” password. If they have already chosen a strong password on the Create account page, the existing password can be re-entered.

Next steps

If you’ve created a new coach account, you may want to set up these items:

  • Add the coach to the permissions for your lesson types.
  • Set up the coach’s availability.
  • Schedule any lessons that are currently recorded offline.

Notifications

Managers may configure their notification settings to receive a message when a new account is created and awaiting verification.
