All new customers create their own account with a personal username, password, and email.
Create an account
To sign up for an account, all customers should follow these steps:
- Open the Login page.
- Click Create a new account. They will be brought to the Create account page.
- Fill out the fields on this page.
Verification
Before the user can log in, a manager will need to verify the account by following these steps:
- Go to the Users section and open the Unverified page.
- Click Verify as Student.
The user will receive a notification that their account has been verified. They can now log in with their username and password.
Notifications
Managers may configure their notification settings to receive a message when a new account is created and awaiting verification.
Accounts without a login
Typically, students will sign up for their own account using the public Create account page. This way, the student can log in with a personal account to schedule lessons and classes, receive notifications, make store purchases, and pay invoices. However, coaches and managers also have the option to create temporary “system students”. These accounts are useful for quickly booking a lesson for a new student without having to wait for the student to create an account.
System students cannot receive notifications or announcements; they are intended as placeholders to store scheduling and billing information. System students will have a plus sign + next to their name, so that you know the student will not receive automatic notifications about scheduling changes.
Create system student
To create a system student account, book a new lesson. For the Student option, select Create new student. This will create a system student with the name that you enter.
Merge
Later, once the student has created an account with a personal username and password and a manager has verified the account, the system student can be merged into the new account. This will transfer all scheduling and billing information to the new account.
