Lessons are scheduled events on the calendar with a student and a coach. Students and staff will book and cancel their lessons according to the scheduling rules you set up.
Setting up the calendar
There are several features that affect how lessons are arranged on the calendar. Each of these features can be customized to suit your preferences.
- Block length - this setting determines how often lessons can be scheduled. This is a global setting that affects the entire schedule.
- Lesson Types - these are the specific services being booked, which is selected when booking the lesson. Each lesson type has an associated duration, in minutes.
- Availability - this is a schedule configured in advance for each coach which determines when the coach is available for lessons. For example, the coach might be available daily from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Customers can book lessons for any time in coach’s the availability schedule.
Setting up customer options
Before customers can log in, you may want to set up policies and permissions.
- Policies - these settings control when customers are allowed to book and cancel.
- Permissions - these settings control which customers are allowed to book specific services and coaches.
