Students who do not show up for a class can be tracked by using tags.
Create a No Show tag
To begin tracking no-shows, first set up a tag type. This tag will be used to mark appropriate attendance records and later view reports on those records.
- In the top right corner, click Site Settings.
- Click Tag Types.
- Click Add Tag Type.
- Enter a Name for the tag type, for example “No Show”.
- Click Add Tag Type.
Your tag type is now set up. Now you can begin tracking attendance records by applying the tag to those records.
Apply the No Show tag to attendance records
When a student does not show up for a class, you can mark their attendance record with this tag.
- First, add the student to the class roster.
- On the Take Attendance page, next to the student name, select No Show.
- Click Save Changes.
View report of no-shows
- In the Reports menu, click Site Reports.
- Click Attendance By Fencer.
- Next to Tag, select No Show.
- Click View Report.
